    The 2001 Planet of the Apes is a bad movie and a terrible remake, I wouldn’t waste my time.

    **** SPOILERS (1970′s SPOILERS) ****

     I haven’t watched the new one but it sounds like they left out
    why the ape’s where able to take over. They were basically slaves used to do
    all the menial work, so people became lazy and stupid, that is why the apes are successful they had access to all
    the humans power positions. Caesar was the first ape to speak and the first
    to say, “No” to the humans starting the ape uprising. He has very
    different origins in the original series, and is a prophet for the apes.
