Let me be the first person to say that I have no idea about anything in the Green Lantern universe. From what this looks like is the Green Lanterns are a bunch of aliens/people who use a ring with special powers to protect good from evil. This weekend at Wondercon they released an amazing 4 minute trailer for Green Lantern and I will say so far I am blown away....
